Choosing Community College: Understanding the Choice Process for Black Males Formerly Incarcerated

Abstract

As more Black males formerly incarcerated reenter their communities and pursue higher education, it is important that we understand how they experience the college-choice process so as to inform policy and practice aimed at broadening their participation. This is the focus of the proposed study.
