This research focuses on the work of a cadre of teacher leaders within an urban professional development school engaged in planning, facilitating, and assessing professional development for their colleagues focused on equity. This presentation describes specific examples of how the teacher leaders individually and collectively challenged the status quo to bring about more equitable, culturally responsive practices in the PDS context through their facilitation of professional development. Specifically, it addresses the topics, routines of practices, supports, and challenges they experienced planning and facilitating this professional development.
