The goal of our study was to understand students’ experiences with an online peer feedback system and its relationship to their attitudes towards adopting this technology. Our work is guided by the technology acceptance model and the task-technology fit model. Eighty-nine students in a university engineering course responded to the survey, and multiple regression analysis as well as emergent coding for the open-ended responses were conducted. As a result, perceived usefulness and task-technology fit of the system significantly predicted the attitudes towards the use of technology, while perceived ease of use and cost did not. Open-ended responses revealed that most of the issues raised by students related to the design of peer feedback activity rather than the use of technology.
