Impact on Participants' Arts Learning and Postsecondary Opportunities: Evaluation of a Public-Private Partnership's Community Program

Abstract

Directly addressing the AERA 2020 conference theme of higher education’s call to contribute to the public good and the generative role of college-community partnerships in that endeavor, this paper focuses on the initial findings from a four-year mixed methods program evaluation of a public-private partnership’s community arts program on participants’ arts learning, skill acquisition, cultivation of artistic community, and awareness of postsecondary opportunities.
