Centering the Voices of LGBTQ+ Students of Color in Community College

Abstract

This qualitative study explores how Students of Color that identify as LGBTQ+ navigate their social and academic experiences at a community college in Southern California. Using a Queer of Color critique, we center student narratives to offer possibilities to reimagine how higher education institutions can support its students.
