This study investigated the relationship between mathematics performance and physical health for children in kindergarten using the public dataset Kindergarten Class of 2010-2011 (ECLS-K 2011) from Early Childhood Longitudinal Study (ECLS). A two-level hierarchical growth curve model was used to explore the relationships between early childhood education and early childhood health taking moderator effects into consideration. The implications of the results of this study are expected to extend to educators, parents, and health providers to help with the improvement of early childhood education.
