Black, Latinx, and Afro-Latinx students continue to be marginalized within four-year colleges and universities. Using a multidimensional model approach, students of color’s academic self-perceptions are investigated to call for interventions that urge higher education to address their historical legacy with oppression, to bring lasting change where students of color may excel at four-year institutions.
