Reframing Student Affairs Programming in Ethiopian Higher Education

Fri, April 17, 2:15 to 3:45pm, Virtual Room

Abstract

Public higher education in Ethiopia has changed tremendously during the past three decades. Despite increasing pressures from the federal government to produce science and technology professionals, the quality of science and technology education has been declining with the rapid expansion of higher education institutions (Semela, 2010). The purpose of this paper is to interrogate how student affairs programming in public universities can help promote the success of women studying science and technology.
