When faced with racial stress, it has been determined that white people resort to a range of defensive behaviors, which has been termed White Fragility. This paper explores 8 colloquially-themed representations of white fragility as demonstrated by white adolescent students visiting the National Center for Civil and Human Rights in Atlanta, GA, with the researcher as the primary narrator. The paper concludes with recommendations for curing white fragility in an educational context.
