Applying Association for Career and Technical Education's High-Quality Career and Technical Education Framework to Postsecondary Research Projects

Abstract

In alignment with the AERA 2020 conference theme, “The Power and Possibilities for the Public Good When Researchers and Organizational Stakeholders Collaborate," this roundtable will look at needed postsecondary research projects in Career and Technical Education (CTE) by looking through the lens of the High-Quality CTE framework created by the Association for Career and Technical Education (ACTE). A large gap in postsecondary CTE research has been identified in examining high-quality CTE. This effort provides a foundation for CTE researchers to discuss current and future research projects that align with and can be used to test the High-Quality CTE framework.
