Internationally, strengthening our understanding of how schools meet the needs of culturally and linguistically diverse students is a vital need in the public interest. As migration trends across the globe continue rising, school populations are growing increasingly culturally and linguistically diverse. Culturally and linguistically responsive educational models can be effective in providing equitable opportunities to learn for these populations. This paper provides a systematic review of evidence to answer the core research question: How and why are Catholic schools around the world enacting culturally and linguistically responsive educational models?
