Abstract

Abstract
The research on deaf education and deaf people’s education in the Dominican Republic experiences parallel the experiences in the United States (U.S.) primarily because of a lack of research on deaf education that studies the implications of language and education experiences (Williams and Park, 2010). The primary purpose of the research is to investigate and to understand the current state of education of Deaf Dominicans through the lens of the Deaf community, parents, and children.
