Latinidad and Legal Education: How Latinx Law Students Articulate the Value of Their Degree

Mon, April 20, 2:15 to 3:45pm, Virtual Room

Abstract

Drawing from a broader study, this project examines the responses of 80 Latinx students enrolled across 8 different law schools in the United States. It examines how students at differently-ranked law schools articulate the value of their legal education using normative case studies. Preliminary analyses reveal the role of individual agency and non-financial returns of investing in their education.
