Abstract

The purpose of this presentation is to engage in researcher reflexivity on the methodological purpose and process of focus groups with a transnational migrant newcomer youth population. We examine the dilemmas we encountered and the lessons learned from disrupting our researcher selves and power dynamics in the process of engaging in focus groups.
