Athletics play a central role in the lives of many youth, with recent reports finding that more than 20 millions youth ages 6-12 participate in one or more sports endeavor. While many efforts have been made to bridge between sports and education through sports-motivated math and science problems, these efforts overlook the true potential of this intersection. In this paper we present the design of a program that pushes youth to experiment with data and programming through wearable sensors. The utilization of data and programming in a practice linked setting is aimed to improve athletic performance, as well as problem solving and critique of technology.
