The Relationship Between School Innovative Climate and Teachers' Innovative Teaching Based on Multigroup Structure Model

Abstract

Teachers'innovative teaching is closely related to the climate of school.Using cluster sampling and random sampling, a questionnaire survey was conducted among 1022 primary and secondary school teachers in Western China.The study found that the school innovative climate and its sub dimension of learning growth, working conditions, team operation had a significant positive impact on teachers' innovative teaching,but leadership effectiveness had a negative impact.Female teachers were weak in resource acquisition and team interaction.The pressure of leadership intervention and social interaction was more obvious for highly educated teachers.The uneven distribution of resources between key schools and ordinary schools was prominent.This study had certain value for the construction of school innovative climate and the differentiated incentives for Teachers'innovative teaching.
