California has a larger population of undocumented immigrants than any other state and graduates more undocumented students from high school than any other state, but only a fraction of them go on to college. It is crucial to support these students during their high school years with the resources and information that can help them go on to pursue post-secondary educational opportunities. Consequently, it is also imperative to have knowledgeable staff that can provide accurate information for their undocumented students. Especially given how quickly and broadly demographics are shifting across the country, the need will continue to grow for school leaders, district leaders, and other educational stakeholders to collaboratively examine the effectiveness of educational approaches currently being developed and utilized.
