This poster presents a new line of inquiry that lives at the intersection of mathematics education, educational history, and Indigenous Studies. In the layout of the poster, we propose a theoretical argument followed by a description of an archival research project that we have just started. We seek to contribute to ongoing historical debates regarding the role of mathematics education in settler colonial curricula in the United States.
