This paper explores Students of Color’s experiences as student leaders in relation to their race and how they navigate the toll of racial battle fatigue (RBF) (caused by peers, faculty, and institutional administrators). Findings highlight that students navigated RBF through reframing the positive, intellectualizing oppression, and striving to “just live.”
