The sharing of two phenomenological journeys is an intimate looking into the soul. Two scholars, a constructivist and a Disability Studies Scholar—co-lead author one—and a Disability Studies Scholar in Education and interdisciplinary social scientist—co-lead author two—shared a common goal; the deconstruction and reconstruction of dis/ability identity at their intersections. There is a paucity in the literature regarding the voices of individuals who teach and research with learning disabilities at their intersectional identities. Our presenting of voice provided a guide to the study with one another and the focus groups in co-lead author two’s classes, for soon those students will be tomorrow’s teachers.
