Abstract

A challenge for education systems is implementing transformative change at scale. In this theoretical investigation, I propose that Knowledge Building communities sit at the intersect and harness the strengths of networked improvement communities, leadership networks, and collaborative innovation networks. I propose that sustained educational change requires boundary-crossing made possible by open innovation networks.
