Abstract

This research examines the role sexual violence in shaping Black undergraduate women’s college choice and collegiate experience. Using Black feminist critical legal scholarship the present research explores what are Black undergraduate experiences with sexual violence while attending a white campus? Through utilizing interview data, the counternarratives of Black undergraduate women illustrate how sexual violence plays a role in the colleges Black undergraduate choose to attend, peer mentorship and interactions, and social adjustment.
