Abstract

The paper presents an examination of how Global Education Reform has taken root in all national reforms policies. The paper demonstrates how a cultural revolution is taking hold in our patriarchal environment does not recognize notions of plural democracy and struggles for gender equality. With the advance of the new Right across Europe, policy actors in Ireland are quietly securing a conservative hold on education through new depoliticized notions of schooling and strategies of assimilation.
