Abstract

The Journal of Geoscience Education (JGE) is a peer-reviewed publication for geoscience education research and an international forum for the pedagogy, assessment, and philosophy of teaching and learning in the geosciences and related fields. JGE publishes research articles, curriculum and instruction papers, literature reviews, and commentaries. Teaching and learning include all settings in which learning can occur. Geoscience includes all Earth-related fields, including geology, oceanography, atmospheric science and meteorology, climate science, environmental science, and planetary science, among others, while related fields extend to other scientific disciplines, mathematics, engineering, the social and behavioral sciences, and the humanities.
