Abstract:
This interactive session will examine and expose the experiences of teachers and faculty of color during a time when immigration politics are at the center of political agendas. In particular, this session will examine how immigration policies are being positioned against people of color within and outside the USA and UK, and how these policies impact teachers and faculty of color. We present questions around what is experienced and how we can assist each other, and others, in navigating and surviving hostile national policy environments.
