Affordances and Modeling of Intensive Data

Abstract
This structured poster session is designed to familiarize the audience with a variety of methodologies and analytic techniques used to answer research questions focused on complex learning processes. Each presentation will feature a project that focused on complex research questions on motivation, engagement, or emotions, employed data collection techniques that were used to address a phenomenon of interest, and applied analytical approaches that can be used to answer questions that concern such complex processes. Nine researchers will serve as presenters. A poster session and a participatory presenter and audience discussion will follow. In the final phase, presenters and audience members will participate in breakout groups focused on methodological challenges and opportunities to build new research communities.
