The old adage tells us to “think globally, act locally”. That is, one should be open to learning from others around the world in order to improve one’s own locale. However, in an ever-increasingly-linked world, thinking globally also requires us to act globally to improve the lives of others. In this session, the panelists who are all members of AERA Division D’s International Committee with extensive experience in working in global settings, look at the various ways in which research and assessment collaborations take place in international settings and how they can be supported.
