Session Type: Roundtable Session
Building on the conference theme, this symposium connects stakeholders from universities and community-based organizations across the country, knitting together various disciplines within education. In these created spaces of relation, we have been drawn towards a quest to create radical communities of care, infused with the holistic integration of the body, mind, and heart. In our symposium, we delve into the real-world “pedagogies of love” (Freire, 1972) that have pushed and prodded us to expand ourselves—individually, interpersonally, and even institutionally.

Scholar Activism: To Make the Road by Walking - Vajra M. Watson, California State University - Sacramento
