Abstract
This poster session includes seven papers addressing topics in higher education. Three papers address topics in emotion, emotional regulation, and affect regulation, including, the formation and regulation of emotions, the role of emotion and emotion variability, the mutual workings of cognition, metacognition, social behavior and affective regulation. Additional topics include, patterns of SRL development among college students using person-centered analyses, trajectories of self-regulation during the first year of college, an exploration of the relationship between motivational self-regulation, student motivation, and satisfaction with academic studies in undergraduate students, and an investigation of the effects of repeated testing on performance and judgment accuracy.
