Division D Fireside Chat: Qualitative Methods for Novice Researchers

Abstract

This year, the Division D Fireside Chat will highlight qualitative research methods and examine the current perception and state of qualitative research in the methodology field and within our division. We will discuss how novice researchers can establish themselves as qualitative methodologists in their respective areas. This session will also showcase the rigor and relevance of qualitative research with regard to the future of the field. Students are encouraged to ask panelists questions regarding qualitative inquiry, and how to establish oneself as a researcher of one or more methods.
