What teacher evaluation system best serves the public good? What constitutes effective teaching? What are the advantages and disadvantages of the various measures commonly used to evaluate teachers? What are the roles should researchers and organizational stakeholders play in the process of improving the existing teacher evaluation systems? In this session, these questions will be answered through a candid conversation among our panelists who represent perspectives from PK-12 teachers and administrators, teacher educators, and researchers. Questions will be taken from the audience to help foster an interactive and dynamic session that will benefit all participants.
