Abstract

Aligned with the 2020 AERA theme of “The Power and Possibilities for the Public Good When Researchers and Organizational Stakeholders Collaborate", the purpose of Division K’s Invited Session Panel is to create a space for graduate students and scholars to engage in conversations to explore the possibilities (1) that center on community engagement, partnerships, public engagement, community education, and school-community relationships (2) that discuss strategies to broaden the reach of empirical research beyond the academia audience and (3) that engage more broadly in public conversations about importance of community partnerships and outreach programs.
