Answering Community Call for Health Care Student Volunteers Under COVID-19 Pandemic

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to get an overview of graduate healthcare student’s experiences and community and clinic experiences during an opportunity for students to emergency volunteer during the COVID-19 pandemic. The two research questions address the following: Did students who volunteered as Student Services Corps gain valuable experiences that added value to their degrees? And did agencies who agreed to be partners for this initiative add value to their organizations under COVID-19 with student volunteers?
