This study uses a quantitative approach to examine the educational impacts and perceptions of COVID19 on 269 parents, or caregivers of school-age or college attending students. This study focuses on the role of race, and roles (college attending student, faculty, teacher, administrator) and their effects on what is believed to be the most appropriate educational solutions moving forward, and how those participants feel. The results indicate a statistical significance between roles, feelings, and expectations. An interesting finding is that multiracial parents believed that students should be responsible for meeting all requirements, pre COVID, whereas White and Black parents did not agree with this belief.
