Despite Belgium and Turkey both being OECD countries, they have recently implemented differing information and communication technology (ICT) educational policies to aid in developing skills with technology, media literacy, and communication (PISA, 2005). To measure the impact of ICT policy in these two countries, science scores were examined from the 2018 PISA. Using a multiple regression model, science scores were used as the output variable to determine impact of ICT resources, home educational resources, country, and gender. ICT usage has been shown to have a positive association with science scores (Spiezia, 2011). Additionally, an interaction term between country and gender was examined to consider any correlation between ICT policies and gender.
