The purpose of this study was to develop the Office Environmental Satisfaction Scale and examine its psychometric properties. A 15-item scale was developed and administered to a sample of Saudi faculty members (N=234). An Exploratory Factor Analysis (EFA) revealed that the scale comprises three subscales (i.e., Satisfaction with Office Privacy [SWOP], Satisfaction with Spatial Arrangement [SWSA], and Satisfaction with Office Atmosphere [SWOA]). Three Rasch Rating Scale Models (RSM) were then applied. The results indicated that items of all subscales had high reliability and separation, yet targeted a small percentage of respondents. Additionally, none of the items was flagged for misfit. Person reliability and separation were low for SWSA and SWOA. All response categories functioned properly, except for the Neutral category.
