Researchers have proposed multiple instruments to measure online learning readiness. While the participants for the previous validation studies usually were college students, in this validation study of Online Learning Readiness Self Check (OLRSC), we recruited potential online learners with various background via Qualtrics Panel. The Confirmatory Factor Analysis supports the nine-factor structure of OLRSC. In addition, the measurement invariance analysis shows that the proposed constructs of OLRSC are basically the same between students who prefer self-paced online courses and students who do not prefer self-paced online courses. Finally, the study finds that students who prefer self-paced online courses have higher factor means of goal setting, time management, and space management among the OLRSC constructs.
