This study contributes new knowledge on youth in 14 different Muslim communities especially values promoting human prosperity. As part of an annual study initiated in 2018, this presentation will share the 2019-2020 results. Data collection was completed in March 2020, right before the lock downs mandated by the pandemic. The data entry and analysis are in progress assessing several values related to responsibility among secondary education university students such as empathy, sense of belonging, problem solving, and self-regulation. Analysis will be completed in fall 2020. Previous data analysis (2018-2019) suggested high reliability of sub-scales and significant interactions between constructs especially the power of empathy in predicting values among youth.
