This study discusses the design and evaluation of an online course for content-based instruction for a Spanish for Business class. Drawing from the principles of design thinking, coupled with Task-based Language Teaching and Learning, and Content and Language Integrated Learning, the design of the course emerges as an entrepreneurial model-- the Shark Tank. The evaluation considered three-interconnected outcomes of the course: (1) designed content-language outcomes, (2) evaluation perspectives, and (3) future improvements, within cognitive and socio-affective factors of second language acquisition. Implications for design and research are presented.
