Nowadays, high quality educational resources can be open and accessible on the Internet. The Internet seems to be a reliable gateway to connect open resources with students. The purpose of this study is to explore a relationship between internet access level and students’ reading performance. The quantitative research method was used to analyze the relationship amongst Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) member countries categorized into three internet access levels: very high, high, and moderate. The data was analyzed using one-way ANOVA. The result implies that there is a relationship between internet access and reading performance. This study can be significant for creating awareness about internet access for improving student performance and eliminating the digital divide in education.
