Augmented reality (AR) and three-dimensional (3D) maps have been applied to mobile learning for library guides. This study aimed to test the measurement invariance of the General Extended Technology Acceptance Model for E-Learning (GETAMEL) questionnaire and compare structural coefficients of the GETAMEL across two groups receiving either the AR or the 3D map mobile library guide. Participants included 450 undergraduates in Taiwan. The results showed that the constructs of this questionnaire were equivalent across the two guides, and partial path parameters differed significantly between groups. The AR guide suits people who are not familiar with libraries to assist in knowing libraries’ resources. The 3D map guide suits people who want to find research materials immediately in order to save time.
