Abstract

This presentation will synthesize and analyze major reports and other works about how to evaluate, assess, or hold teacher preparation accountable and/or how to make decisions about and use information regarding evaluation, assessment and accountability. Based on this analysis and consideration of several new evaluation initiatives, the authors will suggest guiding principles and recommendations for teacher preparation evaluation, assessment, and accountability.
