This essay foregrounds how the every-day, mundane and uncomfortable aspects of youth organizing comprise forms of youth development. In this essay, I highlight the work of Latinx youth organizers in San Francisco as they do the uncomfortable and time consuming work of engaging in collective action against displacement and land speculation in their communities.
