This paper seeks to expand on Chicana M(other)work by centering intergenerational m(other)work through cuentos (stories) and consejos (advice), as contributing factors in the formation of pedagogical practices in the home and lecture hall. This study demonstrates the significant role of generational wisdom and knowledge, inherited by a first-generation Chicana doctorate student and her implementation of othermothering to support her own daughters and BIPOC undergraduate students.
