Causal Mediation Analysis in Structural Equation Modeling With Ratio-of-Mediator-Probability Weighting

Abstract

This study is trying to demonstrate the advantages of combining structural equation modeling with Ratio-of-Mediator-Probability Weighting when conducting causal mediation analysis. The theoretical frame section explained the relative concepts explicitly with 24 equations. Following the explanation of concepts, an example is provided to show how to perform this new method in practice. The significance of study and future studies’ direction are also discussed.
