Abstract

This single-case study explores the concept of co-constructed R&D as a social and discursive practice in the context of a university-school partnership (USP) in Norway that has R&D collaboration as a strategy when aiming to improving both school and teacher education.By using a critical discourse analytical (CDA) approach, we examine how co-created research is constructed on basis of a discursive context related to a strategic process of announcing funds to promote co-created research that resulted in 21 application texts. The study shows that the way collaboration between the parties is facilitated, is important for how co-created research is understood by researchers and teachers.
