Reduction of chronic absenteeism and tardiness in schools has become a key concern for students, parents, and educators. The study investigates the impact of the implementation of an evidence-based program in schools for changing students’ behavior against absenteeism and tardiness by comparing the students’ number of attendance and tardiness before and after the participation in the program. The results revealed a significant positive-impact of the program on students. The program had similar types of impact regarding improving attendance and tardiness across elementary, middle and high school-levels and at gender-levels. However, a significant positive impact is observed in improving attendance of the American-Indian/Alaskan-Native students compared to Multi-Racial students in middle school and Black/African-American and Multi-Racial students in high school level.
