Thu, April 8, 3:00 to 4:00pm EDT (3:00 to 4:00pm EDT), Division A, Division A - Section 4 Roundtable Sessions

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to examine preservice teachers' sense of efficacy, perseverance, and passion for long-term goals, and culturally responsive teaching self-efficacy beliefs. The data from 151 preservice teachers were obtained via pre-/post-surveys administered as part of program evaluation in the Fall 2017 and Spring 2019 semesters. Participants’ sense of efficacy and culturally responsive teaching self-efficacy beliefs increased significantly due to participation in the teacher education courses.
