In this session, the author advances a call to DSE citizen-scholars to center the narratives, perspectives, and voices of dis/abled students at their intersections in regard to their schooling experiences. The end goal is to exhort and encourage DSE citizen-scholars to unite with student voice researchers and educational practitioners in order to challenge the assumptions and practices that underlie forms of oppression including ableism and its intersections that occur in today’s schools and the larger society.
