This session presents the findings from a secondary data analysis of a naturalistic qualitative study that examined the experiences and beliefs of administrators of inclusive postsecondary education for students with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The purpose of this secondary analysis is to provide findings and make recommendations which can raise educators’ cultural and critical awareness of this new college student population. Currently there are 295 postsecondary programs on campuses in the U. S. One goal of the programs is for students to become fully integrated into the campus and its many systems, which means that most college personnel will work with these students at some point. This session can help educators prepare for these interactions.
